Cast online videos from your iOS device to your Roku using the R-Cast app! This convenient feature allows you to use your TV to watch videos that are embedded in webpages.

Before upgrading, it is important to note that if you uninstall and then re-install the app, you can use the 'Refresh Purchase' option in the Upgrade menu to download your previous purchase. If you encounter the "Cannot connect to iTunes Store" message, simply sign out in the iTunes & App Store Settings, sign back in, and refresh your purchase again.

To get started, install the R-Cast channel on your Roku device by visiting https://owner.roku.com/add/rcast. Additionally, make sure to install the R-Cast app on your iOS device. Once both devices are connected to the same Wi-Fi network, this app will automatically detect your Roku devices.

Keep in mind that not all videos can be cast, including HTTPS videos and live streams. Furthermore, videos on the web that are not in high definition may not appear the same on your HD TV as they do on a small screen. If the video website already has a dedicated Roku channel, it is recommended to use its channel instead.

For YouTube videos in HTTPS format, please utilize the official YouTube app as R-Cast will not be able to cast them. If you encounter a situation where the R-Cast channel loads the video and then returns to the home screen, it is likely due to an incompatible video format. Remember that Roku does not support all video formats that play on iOS devices.

It is worth noting that this app only allows casting of online videos from webpages and not videos stored directly on your iOS device.

Quick Start:

• Install the R-Cast channel on your Roku device
• Install the R-Cast app on your iOS device
• Connect your iOS device to the same Wi-Fi network as your Roku device
• Launch the R-Cast app, which will automatically detect Roku devices on your network
• Add your Roku devices manually using their IP Address if they are not detected automatically
• Browse the web for your favorite entertainment within the app
• When you want to cast a video, simply play it and then select the appropriate Roku device from the cast menu
• Enjoy watching videos on the big screen!

Consider upgrading to R-Cast Radical Edition through an in-app purchase for access to additional features. This upgrade allows you to watch videos longer than 10 minutes and resume previous video casts. Additionally, upgrading removes the ads located at the bottom of the browser; however, please be aware that it does not remove any ads hosted by the websites you visit. Prior to upgrading, please ensure that the websites you frequently use are compatible with R-Cast, as this channel only works with the R-Cast app.

If you experience difficulties detecting your Roku device, we recommend rebooting your phone, Roku, and Wi-Fi router. Afterward, try refreshing again. If detection continues to fail, manually add your Roku using its IP address found in Roku's Network Settings.
